Counseling Excellence Starts With Training: Our Programs

We offer two specialized programs for individuals pursuing a career in counseling. The Clinical Internship Program provides hands-on experience aligned with CACREP standards, preparing interns for professional practice. Through direct client engagement and various clinical activities, interns develop the skills, knowledge, and ethical understanding necessary for success in the counseling field.

The Licensed Professional Counselor Residency Program bridges the gap between academic preparation and full licensure. Over two years, residents complete 4,000 hours of post-graduate supervised experience, with at least 2,000 hours in direct client contact. Supervised by experienced licensed professional counselors, residents receive mentoring through reflective practice, case discussions, and feedback on counseling techniques and client management.

Both programs offer comprehensive training opportunities, including workshops on advanced counseling techniques and specialized topics, regular case conferences, and peer consultation groups.
